Vivek Kumar Giri is a Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. He believes that an engineer who is open to new and creative ideas is bound to stand apart from the crowd, and he persistently tries to achieve such a mindset. Vivek has been a part of a student team called "Assailing Falcons," which is an Aero Team building Advance Class aircraft. He was assigned the role of Propulsion and Design Engineer, where he was responsible for designing and analyzing the aircraft, experimentation on Nitro Engines to increase the thrust, implementation of weight optimization techniques, and building prototypes. His skills in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and C++ have helped him excel in his role. Vivek's achievements include being overall 4th worldwide in SAE Aero Design, 2019, with 1st position in both Design Report Submission and Technical Presentation. Apart from this, he has also developed a keen interest in coding and has been learning C++ to hone his skills in this domain. Recently, he came across the Stock Market, which he found quite fascinating, and started learning about it to gain as much knowledge as he can with the hope to someday become a proficient Investor. Vivek is currently seeking entry-level opportunities in his respective field where he will be able to impart the knowledge he gained in his college to meet industrial needs and goals. He is a quick learner and a team player, and his experience in Assailing Falcons has taught him the importance of collaboration and communication in achieving a common goal. With his passion for innovation and problem-solving, Vivek is ready to take on new challenges and make a positive impact in his future endeavors.
